As for the planting of trees on farms: store the x/y of the last plant attempt and increment y each attempt. If y > a column reset it to 0 and increment x. If x > then a row reset both to 0 and restart. That way it scans the entire area 1 tile per growth attempt (or how ever many you decide per att...

Working on an attempted fix here: https://github.com/Blu3wolf/Treefarm-Lite/tree/bugfix Tempted to call it save breaking, but if I can get this fix working then it will be able to convert save games over to the new data handling system. Again it stems from errors Im not sure how to interpret though!...

New version 0.3.1 is up with a minor bugfix for errors on loading a save - https://github.com/Blu3wolf/Treefarm-Lite/releases

Did a test with 60 treefarms that stayed at 60 FPS. Hopefully 600 treefarms would be the same - although Ill need someone to try that for me!

Blu3wolf, any chance the performance suggestions Rseding makes here can get into the official release? It solves the performance problems of using lots of farms, but was done in a much older version he just used for himself. https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=19258&p=131926#p1...

Can i ask you to update the addons for it too? it seems i got issues with the Alien Plant addon (would like to get other addons too if there are more but besides the coffee/tea addon i dont see more, but i heard of rubber/plastic and sulphur plants). Can you give me the exact error that treefarm AC gives you, tell me when it happens, what mods you have installed (version is important as well), what version of Factorio? An interesting choice. Solar panels should probably be more space efficient than greenhouses, but greenhouses should probably be able to recoup their energy loss by burning their product. Mebbe your debuff is a little too "de-"? 40 wood every 600s (50 minus the 10 for the next batch) is 2...

Hmm. Big pollution differences, but for nearly a tenth of the solarpanels required...

Its probably good as it was - although a long timer on growing trees is peobably also a good thing.
