Turn off Demo sounds when viewing Map generator with Preview

If you open the Preview in the map generator, setting up the map becomes full screen, but the little demos on the start screen are still playing in the background, and you hear all the sounds from it. I find this annoying when I'm trying to concentrate on setting myself up a map.

I'd suggest to mute sounds from those demos when the map preview is open.

It's not full-screen. It's just a very big window.

I'm fine for the requirement to be "when a window is open, mute the start screen".

Alternatively, provide a sound option to always mute the start screen.

Main menu scenes are called simulations. Simulation sounds are controlled by the last slider in the sound settings.

That would be "always" then.

Because the main menu is just another window.

In 2.0, the main menu simulations are muted when previewing the map.
As was said, you can use the "Simulations" volume slider to adjust/mute them.

Great, thanks @Donion, and thanks for those that clarified I can mute now with the simulation slider. I have done so :-)
